This article shows subcontractors how to navigate the project page in PlanHub.
From the “Projects” tab, browser through projects or search by project name or keyword. When you select a project, you will see a brief summary to the right. Click the option to “View Project Details”. From the details page, you'll start at the overview.
Overview: This is where you can see project details like project name, address, bid due dates, and trades requested. Here you'll also see more detailed information like construction type, project ID, square footage, overall project value, and any special instructions and status updates.
You can select “Place Bid” to upload and send your bid proposal file for the project being viewed or click “Not Bidding” to prevent receiving future updates on this project.
Project Files: All project files and documents will be found here. You can organize them by Document Type as well. You'll most commonly find project plans, blueprints, specifications and other important documents in this area. Click “Download” to get individual pdf versions of files or select multiple files and click “Download Selected”. If you only need certain files, you can also organize them under the drop-down.
If you are having an issue in downloading files, please check your web browser Settings to ensure that you are allowing for "pop-ups" from our site.
Also keep in mind that if you are downloading multiple files, depending on the size and number of files being compressed, it may take extra time to "zip" them together. To decrease the time in download, please consider downloading individually or in smaller batches.
Competitive Advantage: View your team's bidding activity in one place, and assess the level of competition with Competitive Advantage insights into how other subcontractors are engaging with this project.
General Contractors: This section is where you can see how many GCs are on this project, along with GC details and the option to send a direct message to a specific general contractor.
RFI Center: This is where you can submit a question (a Request for Information) directly to the GC about the project.
Material Estimates: This section is where you'll be able to download material estimates that are shared from Suppliers.
Marketplace: You have the option to explore and use tools from our construction industry partners to help improve your processes.
Find Similar Projects: This section provides you with more bid opportunities as you'll see projects that may be similar to the current project you are viewing.
