How To Update Your PlanHub User Profile & Email Settings

Learn how to update your user profile and email settings for your PlanHub account.

Each registered team member on your Company's account has their own personal profile and notification settings. Editing these to align with your role can help you save time in reviewing project related emails and ensure the Subcontractors and General Contractors have the correct contact details for you. 

 

To edit your User Account and Notifications, go to your Account Settings page in PlanHub. Click on the Logo circle in the upper-right-hand corner and select "My Account".

In the first section, you can update your user account information, including your Name, Phone number(s), SMS preference, and Password 

 

In the notifications section, you can turn emails on or off by clicking on the Envelope icon

 

You can adjust your project invite email frequency and filter the projects you are invited to by Trade and project location in the "Project related communications" section. 

Please note, the options available in the menus for the Trades and States & Regions dropdown bars are a reflection of your company's profile settings. If you need this adjusted to include more trades or locations, please reach out to your admin to update your Company Profile. 

     

 

You can customize your ITBs further by using the Saved Keywords notifications. Click into the field and enter the words or phrases you find on plans and documents that indicate our work is needed. We will scan all projects you receive an ITB for and notify you when we find that your phrase(s) occurred on the documents the General Contractor provided on a project.

Example Phrases include product names, trade names, schedule names (finish schedule, wall schedule), section or division names, and brand names.

  • Click in the text box labeled "Enter your keywords here".
  • Type in your keyword or phrase and use your "Enter" key to save the word/phrase.
  • Click the "x" on a word to remove it.
