How To Sign Up & Create Your Profile

This article shows subcontractors how to sign up and create their profile in PlanHub

First head to PlanHub.com. Click “Sign Up” on the top right. Then, select “Register as Subcontractor to Bid on Projects”. On the registration page, enter your email, name, phone number, and set your password. Once you've checked the box next to, “I agree to the PlanHub Terms of Use”, click “Create Account”.

Next, set up your company. First, enter your company address and zip code. Choose your city, then click “Submit”. Enter your company name. Make sure to upload your company logo, and click “Next”.

Now you can set your coverage area and trades. This information will be used to filter the projects you see, so that you will receive bid invitations for projects with your trade, and in your work regions. Enter your zip code as the center of your work project radius. Click the first drop down box, and scroll through until you find the state and regions that cover your work area. Each state is broken down by city or specific region. You can individually select specific regions, or you can select all, if you cover the entire state. You can select cities, and regions, or more than one state if needed.

Next, select your trades. You’ll see that each trade category is broken down by specific sub trades. You can individually select the specific sub trades you specialize in, or select all if you cover the entire category. Keep in mind that the fewer and more specific trades you select, the fewer projects you will be notified of. The more and broader type trades you select, the more projects you will see.

Don't worry, if you ever need to change these, you can always adjust your specific trades and regions in your account setting later.

Click “Finish” and you're done.
