How Do I Post A Project Status Update?

Let subcontractors know about an update to a project

 

As a General Contractor posting project status updates is a powerful and easy way to increase the potential bids you receive, get more attention on your project from new subcontractors & suppliers, provide relevant updates, and save you time. 

 

To post an update click on the project name from your Projects page to pull up the Project Overview page.

Click the "+ Post Update" button in the top right.

Type your update in the box that appears (eg. site walk information, award status, bid due date reminder, bid form reminder, addendum information, changes in project's bidding status).

Select who you want to receive the update.

*Tip: Please make sure to also use the Stages to feature to let subcontractors and suppliers know when you are; no longer bidding on a project, a project is pending owner response, bidding is closed.  

Click the Send button when ready and your status update will be sent to all contacts who align with your selection.
