Why a Subcontractor's PlanHub Prequalification Form is important and how to complete/edit the form.
The Prequalifications form is a form that you can fill out on your company’s PlanHub profile. Once completed the form can be viewed by General Contractors or downloaded by your team member.
All Subcontractor Company Profiles have and can fill out the Prequalification Form
1. To fill out this form log into your PlanHub account and click "Company Profile" or navigate to https://subcontractor.planhub.com/settings/company/profile
2. Once you have completed all 8 sections of your company's Prequalification Form you will earn the Prequalification badge. The badge will be attached to your logo and tells the General Contractors at a quick glance which subcontractors have completed the form.
- Click on the "Prequalification Form" tab at the top.
3.
- To fill out or edit click on "Edit Prequalification Form".
- To download click on "Download Prequalification PDF".
- Use the "Privacy Settings" toggle to control if General Contractors can via the form.
- If turned off, the General Contractor can still see you have completed the form but they cannot access the form. You will need to download and send it to them directly if you wish to share it.
4. When filling out or editing the form each section has boxes marked with a red asterisk or star, these are required in order to save your work in your sections.
Boxes without this star are optional.
5. If a section has a check box stating you do not have that information or it does not apply to your company/trade you can check the box to override the asterisk requirement.
If the section does not have this as an option the required boxes must be filled out to save your work and consider the section completed.
6. Some project postings will require that you fill out and provide the form in order to submit your bid.
You can check this on the Project Detatils Page, in the "Project Info" tab, in step 3 of the "Project Checklist".
If step 3 says "This project requests Prequalification with your Bid" it is required.
- If you have not filled it out you will be prompted to fill it out after submitting your bid.
- If you have already filled it out the step will be checked off and the form will automatically be provided to the General Contractor with your bid.
7. If step 3 says "(Optional) Get PreQualified to stand out from the crowd.". The prequalification form is requested by not required to bid the project.
