How to use the search tools in the directory to find subcontractors and general contractors in PlanHub?
Navigate to the Directory in your PlanHub account.
When in the Directory with Pro plan access, you have access to our network of Subcontractors and General Contractors.
When in the Directory with Basic plan access, you have limited access to the PlanHub Directory of Subcontractors and General Contractors.
The Directory allows you to use Search tools to find Subcontractors and General Contractors that are the best fit for you.
When performing searches and filtering results you can target user types by clicking on the user type you want in the resulting list: Subcontractors or General Contractors.
You can also choose to search for contacts in the search bar by Keyword or by Company.
Use the Advanced Filters to target and filter results by Your Connections, Trades and subtrades, or by location using the State, or the zipcode and distance options.
- Note, when filtering by state or zip code, the resulting list of companies is those that have stated on their profiles that they service the state or area you are filtering by or have project activity on PlanHub in that area.
You can scroll through the list or you can type in the name of the trade and find the best match. Check off all trades you wish to filter by.
- Click outside of a Filter to have the filter apply and update the list of contacts to the right.
You can see how many matching companies were found in the upper left-hand corner.
Example below: "190 Subcontractors match your criteria"
The sort order will default to sort by "Most Active". You can adjust this as needed.
Click to change the sorting order.
The system defaults to 6 companies per page, to see more companies per page adjust the results per page.
To start a new search quickly, click "clear all" in the Advanced Filters.
You can message whole groups od contacts using the Message Group button.
You can add your own lit of contacts and invite them to set up their free PlanHub account, to do this click on the Add Connections button.
You can block contacts from your results. To see your blocked contacts that align with any filters you have in place, click the toggle to "Show blocked contacts".
