How To Update Your Project's Stage

Keep your project communication clear and timely by updating the project stage in PlanHub. Keeping the stage current lets subcontractors know when to follow up and ensures everyone stays on the same page—especially after big milestones like awarding a contract.

Step 1: Open the My Projects page in PlanHub.

Step 2: Scroll to find the project you want to update.

Step 3: Click the dropdown under the Stage column for your project.

Step 4: Select the new stage from the list. For example, choose Closed, Subcontractor Awarded to show that a Subcontractor’s been chosen.

Step 5: After selecting a new stage, all subcontractors who submitted bids get notified about the update.

Step 6: Look for a confirmation banner in the upper right corner. This lets you know the project stage changed successfully.

Updating your project stage in PlanHub is a best practice that streamlines communication and helps suppliers and subs stay informed. Make sure to update the status promptly as your project moves forward.
