In this article you will learn how to quickly update your project's stage and notify subcontractors and suppliers.
Subcontractors depend on General Contractors to update their project's "Stage" status in order to understand if and when they should follow up on a project they bid. As a General Contractor, it is a best practice to update the stage status for your projects posted on PlanHub.
You can quickly update your projects on the "Projects" page.
Once there, navigate to the project by using the tabs
Locate the Stage column and click on the current stage status, a drop-down menu will populate, to adjust the stage select that new stage
You will receive a popup to Confirm Stage Change, and the opportunity to send an update email about this stage change, you can select from:
ITB recipients (excluding not bidding)
Project viewers (excluding not bidding)
Make your selection and click "Notify" to send out emails or "Don't Notify" to update the stage without sending out emails about the change.
Once completed, you will receive a confirmation message.
