How To Respond To RFIs (Requests for Information)

By he end of this article you will learn how to streamline your workflow by responding to Requests for Information (RFIs) from subcontractors and suppliers directly within PlanHub. Quickly view, reply to, and manage all project questions in one place—ensuring clear communication and timely responses. 

 

 

Step 1: Open your PlanHub dashboard and locate the project where you want to manage RFIs.

 

Step 2: Click the project name to open the project overview page.

 

Step 3: Go to the far right and select the RFI Center tab to view all project RFIs.

 

Step 4: Review the list of RFIs submitted by suppliers or subcontractors.

 

Step 5: Click the Reply button next to the RFI you want to answer.

 

Step 6: When the answer box opens, choose to send your reply privately to the submitter, or make it public so everyone involved in the project can see it.

 

Step 7: Enter your answer and attach any relevant files. Use the browse button or drag and drop documents as needed.

 

Step 8: Click Submit to send your reply.

 

Step 9: After submitting, you'll see the RFI listed in your log of received and responded-to RFIs, keeping your responses organized and accessible.

 

By responding to project RFIs in PlanHub, you make project communication seamless and keep everyone on the same page. Make the most of the RFI Center to ensure nothing slips through the cracks.
