How to Edit a Project Bid Due Date

Maintain an accurate project timeline by updating the bid due date in planHub whenever scheduling changes occur. This guide outlines how to make the update and notify subcontractors and suppliers to ensure all stakeholders remain informed.

 

Step 1: Select the My Projects tab, located in the main panel on the left side of the page.

Step 2: Click the action menu (three dots) at the end of your project’s row.

Step 3: In the dropdown menu, select Edit.

Step 4: Navigate to the Information tab in the center. Click on Information.

Step 5: Scroll down to the Bid Due Date field.

Step 6: Click the Bid Due Date field and choose the new bid due date on the calendar.

Step 7: Review the due time and confirm the correct time zone for your company location.

Step 8: Click Save.

Step 9: In the pop-up window, select the option to send an email update to ITB recipients, or any subcontractors and suppliers who have viewed the project. In both cases, the update will not be sent to users who have declined to bid on the project.

Step 10: Choose your preferred notification option, then click Notify or Don’t Notify to proceed.

Step 11: Verify the bid due date is now updated by checking the Information tab and scrolling back to the bid due date field.

 


Alternate Way to Edit the Bid Due Date

Step 1: On the My Projects page, select the project you want to update.

Step 2: On the project details page, click Edit in the top right corner.

Step 3: Navigate to the top of the page and select Information.

Step 4: Scroll down to the Bid Due Date field.

Step 5: Click on the calendar field to choose your new bid due date.

Step 6: Review and adjust the due time and time zone for your company.

Step 7: Click Save to confirm changes.

Step 8: In the pop-up window, select the option to send an email update to ITB recipients, or any subcontractors and suppliers who have viewed the project. In both cases, the update will not be sent to users who have declined to bid on the project.

Step 9: Make your notification selection, then click Notify or Don't Notify to continue with the update.

Step 10: If you need to make additional changes, continue editing and then click Publish when ready.

Updating the bid due date ensures all subcontractors and suppliers are aligned with the most current project timeline, helping maintain accuracy and consistency in bid submissions. Use this process to efficiently communicate changes and keep your project on schedule.
